Dr. Om Prakash Nautiyal

Dr. Om Prakash Nautiyal is a Scientist at the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST). He holds a Ph.D. in Physics, dual M.Sc. degrees in Physics and Information Technology, and an MBA. A consistently meritorious student, Dr. Nautiyal’s academic versatility reflects his multidisciplinary expertise and vision. With nearly a decade of teaching experience and over fourteen years of service as a Scientist, at the Uttarakhand Science Education & Research Centre (USERC), he has contributed significantly to research, innovation, and technology-driven solutions, particularly benefiting last-mile learners in challenging geographies like Uttarakhand. Recipient of the Excellence in Research of the Year 2024 Award & Devbhumi Education Excellence Award 2025, Dr. Nautiyal has authored/edited more than 14 books, published over 65 research papers in reputed journals, and holds multiple patents granted by the Government of India. He is also actively supervising Ph.D. scholars, furthering the cause of research and innovation.

Mr. Subhash Negi did his graduation from Uttarakhand and MBA in HRM from Maharashtra. He has valid experience of 15 years in marketing, channel development, purchase, procurement and licensing. He is also proficient in managing large projects related to social affair and development along with planning and public administration.

Er. Siddhant Uniyal
Technical Assistant & In-charge, AI Skill Lab
Er. Siddhant Uniyal has done his BTech in Electronics & Communications from Shivalik College of Engineering and MTech in Computer Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani. His area of expertise include Electronics, Robotics and Artificial Intellligence. He has also worked as Project Scientist at Patent Information Center, UCOST where he has created 20+ patent search reports, analysed 50+ copyrights and trademarks application and delivered lectures on IPR in many colleges and Universities. He is presently working as In-charge, Artificial Intelligence Skill Lab, RSC, UCOST where he works for spreading awareness about AI among masses and mentor students to build AI solutions.
Mr. Pankaj Rawat
D.T.E. Operator
Mr. Rawat has a total experience of 7 years, with PCS Technology, Wipro and Uttarakhand Space Application centre. As Employee with PCS Technology, he worked on the ONGC project as IT Engineer. After that he joined Wipro as MIT Engineer where he handled different sites and the Technical IT issues like: Server, switch, router, and network. Later, he worked with Uttarakhand Space application centre (USAC) as Technical Assistant on EDUSAT project where he along with his Team handled the Edusat Hub and various SIT in Uttarakhand.
Mr. Pankaj Thapliyal

He has a 8 years experience working at various capacities with organizations like Power Grid India Corporation India Limited (PGICL), Om Hateshwari Hydro Power Project, NOV Sara India Pvt. Ltd. His major work responsibilities included handling of Transmission, Sub-station, switch Yard and all electric control panel. During his stint at NOV Sara India Pvt. Ltd, which is manufacturing oil rig equipments for ONGC & other oil companies, he has handled commission & installation of equipment & Machinery.
Ms. Soniya Bhandari

Soniya has five years of academic and professional experience in teaching. Earlier she was a Technical Assistant in Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering Collage, Pauri Garhwal. Her major responsibilities were to assist the S&T faculties for conducting practical’s for the students of BE and B.Tech.
Mr Nitin Kapil
Demonstrator
Mr. Nitin Kapil has seven years Exp. in Planning and Execution of work, coordination with the Agencies/contractors to maintain the sequence of activities and preparation on contractor ‘bills. Besides he has an experience as an Erection, commissioning, operation and maintenance viz 11 kv/440 volts substation, layout diagrams of different types of wiring and HT and LT cables and transmission of any type at Indian institute of remote sensing (IIRS) Dehradun.
Mr. Gajpal Singh
Plant Operator
He have 7 year experience from Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya, Nanoor khera, Raipur road Dehradun in the area of electrical. his major work in the council is to operate the electric tools and is working in the council as a plant operator.
