Dehradun, 1 August 2024, The Innovation Hub at the Regional Science Centre, Dehradun, in collaboration with experts from the Bombay Association of Science Education (BASE) and the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (TIFR), is organizing a three-day lab skill workshop for science teachers from August 2 to 4, 2024.
The inaugural session of this workshop was held today, where Prof. Durgesh Pant, Director General of UCOST, extended a warm welcome to the experts and participating teachers. He emphasized that this workshop serves as a self-learning and motivational initiative aimed at enhancing experiential learning skills, which are crucial for the advancement of science education.
Main objective of this program is to impart lab skills and to equip students with innovative approach in designing experiments. Creative activities and hands on training will be organised during this workshop for skill development in laboratory practices.
