Artificial Intelligence Lab
Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. The ideal characteristic of artificial intelligence is its ability to rationalize and take actions that have the best chance of achieving a specific goal. AI has become an important tool and technology for future developments and applications in variety of fields of human activity. Therefore, sensitizing and creating awareness on AI amongst youth is need of the hour. RSC in collaboration with Intel has developed AI skill lab under “AI for Youth” program in which children and youth from the age group 12-19 are inspired and oriented to learn and understand AI.
As a technology of future, AI has tremendous scope and has the potential to solve numerous problems effectively and efficiently. Under this program, AI training lab has been setup to facilitate students by providing resources necessary to develop AI models and make them future ready. These lab acts as nodal centres for innovation and learning which enables youth to develop complete understanding of AI. The lab at Regional Science Centre, Dehradun aims to spread AI awareness among masses and inculcating problem-solving skills among youth of Uttarakhand. AI Camp covers courses Fundamentals of Python Programming, Artificial Intelligence using Data Science & AI Project Cycle on various Domains of AI (Data Science, CV & NLP).
